BBC4 on social housing

The ever brilliant BBC4 ran a nice little documentary last night on the history of social housing…

The documentary covers familiar and well-trodden stuff (slums, homes fit for heroes, welfare state, new towns, high rise, Ronan Point, high rise backlash, Thatcher, right to buy etc) but for housing nerds such as myself it was an interesting way to spend an hour.
